They cover this website. They are not the agreement under which we would advise you — that is a separate engagement, and it is set out separately.
This site is information, not advice
Everything on this website — every page, guide, article and answer — is general education about federal retirement benefits. It is not individualised financial, insurance, tax or legal advice, and you should not treat it as such.
Federal benefit rules are detailed, they change, and the right answer depends on your service history, your retirement system, your age, your family and your finances. Two people in the same grade at the same agency can need opposite advice. Nothing here can account for that. Before you act on anything you read here, speak to us or to another qualified adviser about your own circumstances.
We try hard to keep this site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is either. Rules cited here may have changed since the page was written.

Internal Benefit Advisors is a private firm. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the federal government, the Office of Personnel Management, the Thrift Savings Plan, or any federal agency.
We are a private firm. Any seminar we deliver at a federal workplace is delivered as a private provider.
Who we are registered with
Internal Benefit Advisors is registered in the federal System for Award Management (SAM.gov), active since 2019, under Unique Entity ID Z2KUSGG5J1N6 and CAGE code 8D9H8. We are certified as a Woman-Owned Small Business.
That registration is what allows a federal agency to contract with us. It is not a licence to sell or advise on insurance or investment products — those come from the states, and are held by the individual advisers who hold them. Booking an appointment
Booking a review through this site does not create an adviser relationship. It books a conversation. A benefit review carries no obligation; if you leave it with a plan you can carry out yourself, that is a perfectly good outcome.
Please give accurate details when you book, so we can reach you. If you cannot make an appointment, cancel or reschedule it using the link in your confirmation.
Text messages
If you give us a mobile number and tick the consent box, we may text you about your appointment. Consent is never a condition of receiving advice. Reply STOP at any time to stop. See our SMS terms.
Third-party tools and links
The booking calendar and contact form are provided by GoHighLevel and served from book.internalbenefitadvisors.com. Your use of those tools is also subject to that provider’s terms.
Where we link to another website — OPM, the TSP, an article, a review platform — we do not control it and we are not responsible for its content or its privacy practices.

You are welcome to read, print and share pages for your own use, and to quote us with attribution and a link. You may not republish the site’s content wholesale, or present it as your own.
